SAFIRE’S STANCE ON COVID-19

COVID-19: BUSINESS CONTINUITY AT SAFIRE

Whilst we believe there is no need to panic, it is important that we do whatever we can to aid the national effort to curb the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. By employing a sensible and cautious approach, we hope to minimise the risks.

To this end, please take note of the following:

  • Limited face-to-face meetings will be the norm. With mobile phones, emails, Skype, Microsoft Teams and various other online meeting platforms available we are well able to service all your insurance needs as capably as always.
  • Our team has been encouraged not to travel unless essential.
  • Our staff members have been asked to practice “social distancing”, which means no handshakes or hugs.
  • We have cancelled all Safire group events in the immediate future.

Our internal staff has had training on the COVID-19 virus and on precautionary measures to take. Safire staff who can work remotely from home have been encouraged to do so and will have access to emails. All members of our team are committed to keeping the communication channels open and ensuring that you continue to receive the outstanding service levels you have come to expect from Safire. Our risk management team has approved our staff working from home and has ensured we are following our stringent data protection and network protection rules.

Considering the fluid nature of the situation, we may have to revisit our strategies and make some adjustments as we learn more. We will keep you updated on any changes from our side.
