Safire’s Pretoria office opens at Eastwood Office Estate

The finishing touches have been applied, and Safire’s eagerly-anticipated transformation of its Pretoria office has reached completion. Safire’s technical hub at Sagewood House opened its doors on Monday, 8 April, welcoming a vibrant new team, eager to embark on an exciting journey with the Safire Group.

Nadia Jones, Safire’s Head of Data and Pretoria office manager, was the person in charge of the renovation project. Nadia quite literally started with a ‘blank canvas’ – bare concrete floors and only a coat of primer on the walls. The office space had been vacant since 2020, so a lot of cleaning up was required as well as minor repairs to broken ceiling boards and the odd broken fixture.

As can be expected with any renovation project, challenges arose along the way. A week prior to opening the doors to the new Pretoria-based team, some of the service providers were delayed and running behind schedule. However, in true #TeamSafire style, everyone (including friends and family) pitched in and we managed to complete the project in time for the arrival of the new staff.
