Celebrating Women’s Day at Safire

In August, Safire celebrated Women’s Day and honoured its female staff members by surprising them with a practical and stylish branded bag, each gift accompanied by a Women’s Day–themed inspirational quote.

This was a small way of thanking our ladies and recognising their contribution and dedication to the Safire team.

Women’s Day in South Africa is commemorated on 9 August each year to pay tribute to the more than 20,000 women who, in 1956, marched peacefully to the Union Buildings in Pretoria to protest against the pass laws of the time.

At Safire, we are proud to celebrate and support the women who contribute so much to our success, and to honour the legacy of resilience, leadership, and unity that Women’s Day represents.
